Barry Gibb received a lifetime achievement award at the annual Silver Clef Awards in London

Barry Gibb received a lifetime achievement award at the annual Silver Clef Awards in London on Friday (June 28).

The awards raised nearly half a million pounds for music therapy charity, Nordoff Robbins.

Other winners included veteran punk rockers The Clash, who picked up the O2 Silver Clef Award and Ray Davies, who led the band the Kinks with his brother, who won the Ambassador of Rock award. Rick Parfitt and Francis Rossi from Status Quo, were also among those attending the ceremony at the Hilton in Park Lane. Alison Moyet picked up an icon award.
