Rock band Fleetwood Mac formed in London in 1967 and achieved much of their success in the 1970s and 1980s.
Fleetwood Mac have been confirmed as the first headline act for the Isle of Wight Festival 2015.
The iconic band will headline the Main Stage bill on Sunday, June 14, 2015, in what the music event describes as a "worldwide exclusive booking".
"We've always wanted to come to the UK to play The Isle of Wight Festival, and so we are delighted that in 2015, we are finally making it happen," the band said.
"So many of our fellow artists and friends have played at this historic event over the years, and we can't wait to see all of our fans on the island next summer."
The Isle Of Wight Festival 2015 will take place June 11-14, with tickets on sale from 9am on December 5.
The three-day event will play host to 12 stages of live music over the weekend, and will celebrate its 14th year in 2015.
