Neil Diamond is set to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame next month.
The 'Sweet Caroline' singer's will receive the 2,476th star on the famous walkway, honouring his life and career.
Diamond's ceremony is to be held on August 10 in front of the Capitol Records Building in recognition of the 40th anniversary of his hit album Hot August Night.
A Hollywood Chamber of Commerce said of the upcoming ceremony: "We finally were able to pin [Neil] down for a date to dedicate his star. This is one busy man and we are thrilled to honour this legendary performer."
Diamond has sold 115 million records worldwide and notched up hit singles including 'Cherry Cherry', 'Forever in Blue Jeans' and 'Hello Again'.
His 29th studio album Dreams was released in 2010.
