The ‘70s has a lot to answer for - tie-dye, long hair and rose coloured glasses, to name just three. It was also the decade responsible for some of the best music ever made. Here, we countdown the best-selling albums of the 1970s, from 10 to 1.
It wouldn’t have been the ‘70s without ABBA. The album was the best selling of 1976 in the UK and stayed in the charts for 130 weeks. The songs, taken from ABBA’s first three studio albums, had all but one been singles somewhere in the world. It features hits including "Waterloo," "SOS," "Mamma Mia" and, "Fernando".
