Everybody’s Talkin’ – Harry Nilsson 

Harry Nilsson’s version of ‘Everybody’s Talkin’’ was also a cover - Fred Neil recorded it originally. Nilsson’s version features on the soundtrack of 1969 film, Midnight Cowboy. It also won Nilsson a Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Male Vocal Performance. It reached number 23 on the UK Singles Chart and climbed to number six on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.

Everybody's Talkin' - The Beautiful South

The Beautiful South released their cover of ‘Everybody's Talkin' in 1994, taken from their album Miaow. Chart-wise, it did pretty well, reaching number 12 in the UK.

Since Nilsson's cover of the song, it has been covered by many other singers, including Tom Jones , The Beach Boys and Neil Diamond .
