Some band break ups can be painful - here, we explain the reasons behind some of the biggest group splits of all-time, including The Eagles, The Beatles and The Supremes.
The Eagles fell apart thanks to ‘differences in personality.’ Don Henley and Glenn Frey were the driving forces behind making the band a success, while original members Bernie Leadon and Randy Meisner quit due to the terrible atmosphere in the band. Tensions really flared in the early 1980s, when a backstage argument led to on-stage threats. The band didn’t play together for 14 years after that incident.
