Jimmy Ruffin, the Motown performer who scored his biggest hit with 1966's What Becomes of the Brokenhearted, has died at the age of 78.
When Jimmy Ruffin left the Motown label, he recorded for the Polydor and Chess, where he recorded "Tell Me What You Want." In 1980, the Bee Gees’ Robin Gibb produced his album Sunrise and the hit single "Hold On To My Love", which reached number 10 in the US and number seven in the UK.
