Jimmy Ruffin, the Motown performer who scored his biggest hit with 1966's What Becomes of the Brokenhearted, has died at the age of 78.
After leaving the Army in 1964, Jimmy returned to Motown, where he was offered the opportunity to join the Temptations. However, after hearing his brother David, they hired him for the job instead, so Jimmy decided to resume his solo career. Picture: Getty
