The Jordanaires were an American vocal quartet made up of tenors Gordon Stoker and Neal Matthews, baritone Hoyt Hawkins and bass Ray Walker. They are best known for providing backing vocals for The King, Elvis Presley from 1956 to 1972. They featured on over half of Elvis’ 700 recordings.
