The Nuremberg Christmas Market is one of the oldest Christmas markets in Germany, and in the evening when the lights go on, the spiritual journey begins back to the 'good old days'.
The main market is full of traditional wooden stalls selling mulled wine, sausages and gingerbread. More and more of these culinary delights now have organic options.
Whether it's Christmas decorations, tinsel angels or nativity figures you're after, this little town of wood and cloth has everything that makes the time of year just before Christmas so loveable.
