He has one of the most distinctive voices in pop and rock, and he'll be playing three special dates in the UK next year.
Five-time Grammy winner and former Doobie Brothers member Michael McDonald will play his first UK shows in eight years in March 2018.
The shows will take place in Manchester, Birmingham and London in support of his latest album Wide Open, his first LP of original material in 17 years.
“Returning to the UK is long overdue," Michael said. "I really look forward to reconnecting with fans and the opportunity to perform music from my new album and classic hits.”
Tickets for the shows will go on sale at 9am on Friday, November 10.
The dates in 2018 are:
March 12 - Manchester O2 Apollo
March 13 - Birmingham Symphony Hall
March 15 - Hammersmith Eventim Apollo
