The Who join the Glastonbury Festival lineup for 2015 as the final headliners
The Who have been confirmed for the final headline slot at this year's Glastonbury Festival.
The 'My Generation' band will play the Sunday night of the Worthy Farm event, putting an end to months of headliner speculation, including ours.
"It's great to be ending this part of a 50-year career at the most prestigious and respected music festival in the world," Roger Daltrey said.
"We'll do our best to close this year's event with a bang, unless of course the fireworks get wet!"
Paul Weller has also been announced for the penultimate slot of the weekend on the Pyramid Stage.
Foo Fighters and Kanye West will serve as the other headliners at this year's festival, which takes place across the final weekend of June. Lionel Richie performs the Sunday afternoon slot, which was made popular last year by Dolly Parton.
Guitarist Pete Townshend recently admitted that he doesn't enjoy performing with the band.
"The shows? I don't like them. I don't find them fulfilling," he explained. "But I'm brilliant at it. I find it incredibly easy. I drift through it."
