The childhood pals have been dating since mid-2015 and it looks like things are serious between them!
'Up On The Roof' writer Gerry Goffin has died at the age of 75.
The lyricist's first wife and songwriting partner Carole King announced the news via her Facebook page , simply posting: "Gerry Goffin 1939-2014. There are no words."
It has been reported he died early on Thursday (June 19) at his home in Los Angeles.
Goffin was responsible for such hits as 'Will You Love Me Tomorrow', '(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman', 'Up on the Roof' and 'The Loco-Motion'.
In a statement, King said: "Gerry was a good man with a dynamic force, whose words and creative influence will resonate for generations to come.
"His legacy to me is our two daughters, four grandchildren, and our songs that have touched millions and millions of people, as well as a lifelong friendship."
Goffin is outlived by wife Michelle.
