Adam Lambert has declared that he has no intention of attempting to replace the late Freddie Mercury when performing with Queen.
Brian May has is apparently interested in running for Parliament.
A spokesperson for the Queen icon suggested that he could run as an independent candidate.
May's agent Phil Symes said in a statement that the guitarist has "no firm plan" to run in a particular district, but wants to play a part in "re-establish[ing] common decency" in the UK.
"[He wants to fix a] system that he sees as failing the electorate," Symes said.
Aside from his role in Queen, May has invested a lot of time leading a public rally against the controversial culling of badgers.
He even released a single called 'Save the Badger Badger Badger' to raise awareness for the cause.
