Robbie Williams has announced plans to release instant live albums later this month
Robbie Williams has announced plans to release instant live albums later this month.
The singer will release a new live album moments after leaving the stage of his upcoming O2 Arena shows in London.
Williams will play at the venue across three nights on November 22, 23 and 24, with each show being recorded and compiled into a live album on the night.
The plan is to then release them digitally as Williams leaves the stage for fans as part of his Live At The O2 collection. A special three-disc set will then be released at a later date.
Williams is playing the mini tour at London's O2 Arena in support of his recent chart-topping album Take The Crown.
We think this is a really good idea and potentially a new direction for more and more artists in future - wonder if it’ll catch-on?
