There have been many tribute to Tom Petty over the past week, but this one might be the most amazing yet.
Over 90,000 football fans joined together to sing Petty's classic track 'I Won't Back Down' in his hometown of Gainesville in Florida.
The beautiful moment came at the end of the third quarter of the game between the Florida Gators and the LSU Tigers this weekend.
Before the start of the fourth quarter, the entire crowd came together to sing the tune in tribute to Petty.
Watch another angle below:
Petty worked as a groundskeeper at the University of Florida for a short period while he tried to make it in the music business.
In the 2007 documentary Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers: Runnin' Down a Dream, Petty said of life in Gainesville growing up: "It was a little town in the '50s. It was a very Southern contingent there. There was a kind of farming element and then there's the university, so you had this mix of people. You could run across just about any type of person there.
"I remember it fondly growing up. It was just big enough that it had two movie theaters, which was great."
Petty died at the age of 66 on October 2.
