Sir Rod Stewart and Penny Lancaster have some big news to share.
Today is the first anniversary of Whitney Houston's untimely death.
Today (February 11 2013) is the first anniversary of Whitney Houston's death at the age of 48. The iconic singer was found dead in her hotel room at the Beverly Hilton, where she was getting ready to attend music producer and long-term friend Clive Davis’s annual Grammy party. Since then, the room where Houston died, No. 434, has been taken out of circulation at the hotel.
“The anniversary of Whitney Houston's death is a sad reminder to us all that we have lost an iconic and well-loved entertainer. Out of respect to the family and fans of Whitney, the guest room where she stayed was immediately taken out of inventory and all contents were removed," said Laura Millett, who handles PR for the Beverly Hilton. "Hotel management is considering options to repurpose the space but has made no final decisions at this time."
