It's surely only a matter of time before Take That release a new album, but what about making a new supergroup?

The Spice Girls were arguably Take That's female equivalent in the 1990s, and now that they're reuniting in some form - potentially for the upcoming royal wedding - what about a Take That/Spice Girls team-up?

Gary spoke about the prospect backstage at the first ever Global Awards in London tonight (March 1):

When asked if he thinks the Spice Girls should reform soon, Gary said: "I think they should. We gig every year, but those guys they’ve had about five years off now!"

On a potential supergroup with the Spices, he added: "Now that’s a good idea. We need a mixed group, we’ve not had one since Steps!"
