Don't worry, your eyes aren't playing tricks. McDonald's iconic logo has been turned upside down.
Several McDonald's restaurants in the States have flipped their 'M's to look like 'W's. But why?
Well, it is in "celebration of women everywhere," a McDonald's representative confirmed
The move is to mark International Women's Day today (March 8), and the fast food chain will display its arches upside down across its social media accounts.
Employees will also wear shirts with the 'W' logo on their shirts and hats, and there will also be special packaging featuring the logo at 100 chains across America.
"For the first time in our brand history, we flipped our iconic arches for International Women's Day in honour of the extraordinary accomplishments of women everywhere and especially in our restaurants," McDonald's Chief Diversity Officer Wendy Lewis said.
The move hasn't transferred to the UK sadly, but maybe next year?
