James Xuereb was heartbroken when two his beloved dogs, Nemo and Lucy, recently died from congestive heart failure and old age.
But his family later surprised him by introducing him to the latest edition to their family: bichon frise puppy Lumo.
James was completely overcome with emotion when he met their new puppy, and his family wrote him a touching card from the puppy's perspective, to help "bring some happiness back into your life."
“These dogs are my dad’s life,” his daughter Jaleen Xuereb told ABC News. “We kept this a secret a really long time,” she said. “We were really anxious. I can’t explain it. He considers them like children. It’s unbelievable.”
The wonderful moment has since been seen over seven million times on Facebook. We're not crying, honest.
