We take a look at eight of the greatest male soul singers of all-time, including Otis Redding, Sam Cooke and Luther Vandross.
James Brown burst onto the scene in 1956 with ‘Please, Please, Please’. He became known as "the hardest-working man in show business" due to the number of gigs he performed at a frenzied pace. He was responsible for ‘I Feel Good’, ‘Papa's Got A Brand New Bag’, and ‘It's A Man's Man's Man's World’. Brown passed away in 2006.
