SMOOTH’S PASSPORT TO THE STARS ON-AIR COMPETITION ON THE SMOOTH NETWORK

JUNE – JULY 2017 RULES

  1. The following rules (“Specific Rules”) together with the general competition terms & conditions (which can be found at http://www.smoothradio.com/competition-terms-conditions/ ) (the “Competition Terms and Conditions”) of Global as defined in the Competition Terms & Conditions apply to ‘SMOOTH’S PASSPORT TO THE STARS radio competition ("the Competition") which will run from 10/07/2017 until 16/07/2017 (“the Duration”).  The "Radio Station" is The Smooth Network.
  2. Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted these Specific Rules and the Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.

 

3) Details of the Competition

To enter the competition, an entrant must:

3.1 Answer the question posed on-air by the presenter(s).

3.2 Send a text message starting with the word WIN, followed by the answer to 65588 (the “Text Message Line”). Text messages will be charged at £1.00 plus standard network rate.

3.3 The Text Message Line will open and close as directed on-air by the presenter(s). If you text after the closing time you will not be entered but may still be charged. Global Radio is not responsible for any latency experienced by your mobile phone network, which may delay the delivery of your text message to us.

3.4 After the closing time, one entrant with the correct answer will be selected from all entries received during the valid entry period. That person may be brought to air to give the answer they submitted in their text entry.

3.5 All entrants selected to play may be required to talk to the presenter/s and a call may be recorded with the presenter/s and played on-air. If the caller doesn’t answer their phone, is driving at the time of the call and is unable to pull over, or cannot continue the call for any reason, the call may be terminated and another entrant selected at random. The Producer’s decision is final.

4) Eligibility

4.1 Entrants must be aged 18 years or over.

4.2
 You can enter each round of the competition a maximum of 30 times. We strongly advise against excessive use.

4.3 Entrants must have a valid passport with a minimum of 6 months until expiry after the return travel date.

 

5) Prize

Prize includes:

- Return flights for two people from London Heathrow to Philadelphia, USA on Friday 8th – Tuesday 12th September 2017
Return transfers from the airport to the hotel
- 4 Nights accommodation at the 4 star The Warwick Hotel
Rittenhouse square
- Tickets for two people to see Billy Joel at Citizens Bank Park on
Saturday 9th September 2017
- ESTA fees for two people
- Travel insurance

5.1 Travel is subject to availability at the discretion of the organiser and will be on Friday 8th – Tuesday 12th September 2017. Return flight will depart Philadelphia on and arrive in London Heathrow the next day on 12th September.

5.2 Departure airport used will be London Heathrow. Non UK passports holders may need a visa for this destination, which they should arrange with the Embassy at their own expense. Includes all taxes and surcharges.

5.3 Transfers are not private and may be shared with other passengers

5.4 Hotel is classed as a 4 Star and is based on two people sharing a twin or double room (winner’s choice) with ensuite bathroom on a room only basis. At least one guest must be over the age of 21.

5.5 Whilst NDL can purchase tickets on your behalf for this event, we cannot give you permission to use them for promotional purposes. Please seek guidance from your legal department.

5.6 For all USA trips, UK Passport holders must hold a valid ESTA (electronic tourist visa) from the US Embassy, which can be applied for a minimum of 72 hours prior to travel. Anyone not holding an ESTA will be deported from the US upon arrival without exception. It is the winner’s responsibility to comply with the ESTA visa requirements of the United States of America. Approval is at the discretion of the US Embassy and NDL Group cannot be held responsible for this being rejected.

5.7 Travel insurance is subject to normal terms of acceptance. Pre-existing medical conditions may not be covered. No age restrictions apply.

5.8 All prizes must be claimed and booked by the prize winner within 12 months from the date of our initial correspondence with them.

5.9 The prize is non-transferrable and no cash alternative is available.

5.10 Global Radio reserves the right to change the prize or any part of it at any time.

5.11 The Promoter is Global Radio.
