The multi-million selling artist has been officially announced for the title song of 'Skyfall'

The 'Someone Like You' singer has now been officially announced for the title song 'Skyfall', according to Total Film.

And guess what the song’s going to be called? Er, 'Skyfall'.

Skyfall stars Daniel Craig, Judi Dench, Javier Bardem and Ralph Fiennes and hits cinemas on October 26th.

Singing a theme for the 23rd James Bond film means that the British singer joins the likes of Shirley Bassey, Paul McCartney and Madonna, all of whom have contributed in their own unique way to the Bond franchise.

We can’t think of anybody better to record the next Bond theme. Adele's album 21 was released in January 2011 and has yet to leave the charts. It was the biggest-selling record of the year by some distance, and currently ranks second on the bestseller list of 2012, behind Emeli Sande's Our Version Of Events.
