Adele has reportedly not yet chosen a producer for her much-anticipated new album.

Adele is reportedly 'taking her time' to figure out who to work with on her new album.

The  singer's last album, 21, was released in 2011. Since then, she hasn't released any new music other than the theme song to James Bond movie Skyfall in 2012, and it seems fans will have to wait a fair bit longer to hear something from the 26-year-old.

Despite hinting in May last year that there would be a new record in 2014, it has been claimed that Adele hasn't even chosen a producer for the album yet.

"Adele was awesome, but I don't know if we'll be working together,” producer Emile Haynie told the Daily Star. “We got along well as friends when we met in February and I hope we can cut some songs, but Adele is taking her time."

"I'd push for it to happen, but we'll have to wait and see." he explained.

Adele has taken an extended break from her career after giving birth to son Angelo in October 2012 with boyfriend Simon Konecki. It was rumoured that the couple had married in 2013 but it has never been confirmed by a representative for the star.
