The 'Someone Like You' star is reportedly set to work with pop icon Prince on a new song.
Adele wants to follow up the extraordinary success of her second album, '21', with something special, and she thinks Prince might be just the ticket.
The 55-year-old played an intimate show in London on Monday February 17 - and Adele allegedly attended to propose a collaboration.
"The reason Adele only stayed a short time at Prince's gig at Ronnie Scott's in London was because it was just a business meeting and she needed to get home.
"They wanted to work together on a track for her next album."
A spokesman for Prince has denied the claims: "[it's] not true. She just came to enjoy the show."
Adele is set to release her third studio album later this year.
