 Bob Dylan Versus Adele

Make You Feel My Love - Bob Dylan

Bob Dylan’s version of ‘Make You Feel My Love’ appears on his 1997 album Time Out Of Mind.

Interestingly, it was first recorded and released by Billy Joel, under the title ‘To Make You Feel My Love’, before Dylan's version appeared later that same year.

Make You Feel My Love - Adele

Adele’s cover of ‘Make You Feel My Love’ features on her multi-award winning debut album, 19. Speaking about her decision to cover it, Adele said: “The lyrics are just amazing, and summed up exactly what I'd been trying to say in my songs. It's about regretting not being with someone, and it's beautiful. It's weird that my favorite song on my album is a cover, but I couldn't not put it on there."

Released in 2008, this version reached number 26 on the UK Singles Chart.

The song has been covered by a number of other performers including Garth Brooks and Bryan Ferry.

Best Version? Adele.
