Four varieties of wine based on members of The Beatles are being sold in a Liverpool hotel.

Four varieties of wine are being sold to celebrate the Fab Four at Liverpool's Hard Days Night hotel.

The Beatle-themed Hard Days Night Hotel in Liverpool has launched its own exclusive range of Beatles wines to honour the Fab Four.

According to the Liverpool Echo, the four bottles feature caricature impressions of John, Paul, George and Ringo. Variations include Chardonnay, Shiraz, Cinsault-Grenache Rosé and Colombard-Ugni Blanc, with the wines now being served throughout the hotel's in-house bars and Blakes Restaurant.

Which Beatles wine are you likely to go for?

John Lennon (Dry White) - Citrussy, peachy and soft, refreshing and easy-going, with mouth-wateringly juicy fruit flavours ripened in the south Australian sun

Paul McCartney (Red) - Australian Shiraz at its friendliest - warming, aromatic, baked black fruit and spice lead the way, with light tannins, black pepper and soft red berry fruits in the background

George Harrison (Rosé) - Full of fresh summer fruits, this is a fantastic sunny southern French rosé. Strawberry, redcurrant and ripe berry flavours

Ringo Starr (Medium White) - Clean, fresh and fruity medium-dry white with just a hint of sweetness, giving delicious, juicy tropical fruit notes.
