The announcement coincided with Celine’s 58th birthday, a milestone she described as “the best gift of my life” on Instagram.
"I'm so ready to do this," she told fans. "I'm feeling good, I'm strong, I'm feeling excited, obviously, [and] of course, a little nervous."
She also addressed her health, sharing: "I'm doing great, managing my health, feeling good. I'm singing again, even doing a little bit of dancing.

"But I have to tell you something very important: Over these last few years, every day that's gone by, I felt your prayers and support, your kindness and love." Celine added: "I am grateful to all of you. I can't wait to see you again."
Celine Dion last performed a solo show on 8 March 2020 in Newark, New Jersey. Her Courage Tour was cut short by the Covid-19 pandemic, and her subsequent diagnosis of Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS) forced her to cancel future performances.
Celine Dion publicly revealed her SPS diagnosis in December 2022, describing its profound impact: “Every aspect of my daily life” was affected.
The condition, which impacts roughly 8,000 people worldwide, interferes with nerve signals to muscles, causing spasms and difficulty with movement. There is currently no cure.

Speaking to NBC News, Celine described the sensation: "It's like somebody is strangling you. It's like somebody is pushing your larynx [or] pharynx." Despite the challenges, Dion remained determined.
In 2024, she told French Vogue: "The way I see it, I have two choices. Either I train like an athlete and work super hard, or I switch off and it's over.

Her dedication paid off with a moving performance at the 2024 Paris Olympics, singing Edith Piaf’s 'Hymne à l’Amour' from the Eiffel Tower, the same song that accompanied her tour announcement.
