Sir Paul McCartney collected an honorary prize at the NME Awards for his songwriting skills last night - and admitted he had no idea how he did it.
Sir Paul McCartney collected an honorary prize at the NME Awards for his songwriting skills last night - and admitted he had no idea how he did it.
The former Beatle was being honoured with an award as the "songwriters' songwriter" at the annual awards event and received a standing ovation from guests.
Sir Paul McCartney said: "The great thing about songwriting is that you don’t know how you do it, so you can’t talk about it."
