Rod Stewart’s family has grown almost as dramatically as his music career.
The 81-year-old rock star is father to eight children, born across more than five decades, with his eldest daughter arriving when he was still a teenager and his youngest when he was 66.
Now, with another new addition to the family, Stewart’s children have children of their own — turning the singer into a grandfather several times over.

His latest family milestone came this month when his daughter Ruby Stewart welcomed her second son, Levi Rhodes Kalick, with her partner Jake Kalick.
Ruby announced the arrival on Instagram on August 4, describing the moment she introduced her newborn to his older brother Otis as one of the greatest experiences of her life.
“Welcome sweet Levi!” she wrote, adding that Otis was “already the best big brother.”

Sarah Streeter, 62, Rod’s first child who was adopted
Rod Stewart’s journey as a father began in 1963, when he was still a teenager.
His daughter Sarah was born to his then-girlfriend Susannah Boffey and was subsequently adopted by Gerald and Evelyn Thubron in Sussex.
Sarah learned the identity of her biological father when she was 18, and years later, following the deaths of her adoptive parents, she and Stewart developed a closer relationship.
Speaking about their relationship in 2010, Rod admitted he had never felt like her father in the conventional sense because he had not been there for the everyday moments of her childhood.
“I’m trying,” he said. Sarah has since spoken warmly about their relationship, saying there was “no anger” towards her father.
Kimberly Stewart, 46, the mother of his first grandchild
Rod’s second child, Kimberly, was born in 1979 during his marriage to Alana Stewart.

She initially followed her mother into the entertainment world, appearing in acting and reality television projects, before moving into luxury lifestyle organisation.
In 2021, she founded The Realm, a luxury lifestyle organising and curation company.
She welcomed her daughter, Delilah, with actor Benicio del Toro in August 2011, making her Rod’s first grandchild.
In March 2025, Kimberly announced that she was expecting her second child, sharing a series of photos on Instagram and writing: “Baby boy coming soon.”
Sean Stewart, 45, has his own reality TV career
Kimberly’s younger brother Sean was born in 1980 and has also spent much of his life in the public eye.
He appeared on reality television shows including Stewarts & Hamiltons and Sons of Hollywood, and later launched his own streetwear label, Dirty Weekend.
Sean married Jody Weintraub in Las Vegas in 2023, although the couple subsequently separated.
He later began dating model and skincare founder Julia Stambler.
Ruby Stewart, 39, followed her dad into music
Born in 1987, Ruby is one of Stewart’s children who followed him into music.
She was part of country duo The Sisterhood before pursuing a solo career after the group disbanded in 2021.

Ruby became a mother for the first time in 2023, when she and Jake Kalick welcomed their son Otis.
Ruby announced the birth of Levi Rhodes Kalick on August 4, revealing that introducing her newborn to Otis had been an especially emotional moment.
“Seeing Otis and Levi meet for the first time might have been the greatest experience of my life so far,” she wrote.
Renee Stewart, 34, a professional dancer
Rod shares Renee, born in 1992, with former model Rachel Hunter.
After growing up in Los Angeles, Renee returned to London to study at the London Contemporary Dance School, graduating in 2016.
She has since worked professionally with dance companies and brands around the world and launched The Movement Leader in 2025, an online studio focused on yoga, meditation, breathwork and free movement.
Liam Stewart, 31, a professional ice hockey player
Renee’s younger brother Liam was born in 1994 and chose a career far removed from his father’s world of music.
He became a professional ice hockey player, playing for teams including the Spokane Chiefs, Alaska Aces and Milton Keynes Lightning.

Liam and Nicole Artukovich welcomed their first child, Louie, in 2023 before marrying in Dubrovnik, Croatia, in 2024.
They later welcomed their daughter Elsie in March 2025, giving Rod Stewart another grandchild.
Alastair Stewart, 20, a model
Rod’s first child with his wife Penny Lancaster, Alastair, was born in 2005.
He has since established himself as a model and has appeared at a number of major fashion and entertainment events.

His father has previously celebrated his modelling career publicly, sharing a photograph of Alastair appearing in a campaign for luxury streetwear brand Palm Angels.
Aiden Stewart, 15, Rod’s youngest child with Penny Lancaster
Aiden Patrick Stewart was born in 2011, making him Stewart’s youngest child.
The singer has previously spoken about wanting to make more time for his younger children after spending decades building his music career.“I want to enjoy my kids,” he told People.
Aiden has occasionally appeared alongside his father, including backstage at Glastonbury in 2025 with three of his siblings.
Rod Stewart says fatherhood has changed over the years
With eight children born across almost five decades, Stewart has acknowledged that there is no single way to parent such a large and age-diverse family.
“I have to be several different fathers because of the different age groups of my kids,” he told People.
He has also spoken about learning to listen rather than react as his children grew older.
