Bands That Definitely Should Have Been Bigger
For those who don’t know, Average White Band are a Scottish funk and R&B band that had a series of soul and disco hits between 1974 and 1980. Whilst their back catalogue didn’t bring them mega-level fame, their work has been sampled numerous times. Listener Gregor Macmillan said on Facebook, “the Average White Band were overshadowed by so many other great bands in the 70s.” We have to agree.
