The Glastonbury 2015 Headliner Rumours We’re Most Excited About

We might be getting a bit old for camping at festivals now, but we’d still love to see these acts headline at Glastonbury 2015. After all, rumours can become truth, right?

  1. adele quotes of the week

    1. Adele

Adele has gone on record to say she doesn’t think her music works for festivals, but surely the lure Glastonbury might change her mind? Recent reports have suggested that she has been in talk with Michael and Emily Eavis, but with her third studio album yet to be announced, we await such a headliner with baited breath.

  2. Elton John

    2. Elton John

The legendary Elton John was one of the biggest hits at Bestival a few years ago and his upcoming tour would fit perfectly with a Glastonbury headline set.

  3. Madonna Fall BRIT Awards 2015 Performance

    3. Madonna

Can you believe Madonna has never been a Glastonbury headliner? With her 2015 album, Rebel Heart, receiving strong reviews and with over three decades of hits to choose from, a Queen of Pop Glastonbury headliner performance could go down in history as one of the festival’s best.

  4. Kate Bush Before The Dawn live

    4. Kate Bush

Kate Bush has recently finished her much-anticipated series of London shows and whilst she’s made it clear she’s not performing again “for a while”, surely she can put in a performance next year at Glastonbury. You can call it wishful thinking; we’re calling it ‘hopeful’. Picture: Rex

  5. Queen and Adam Lambert

    5. Queen and Adam Lambert

This rumour is like cat nip to those Queen fans who didn’t get to see the band perform in their heyday. Queen, who now perform with Adam Lambert as frontman, announced a European tour for 2015 and Glastonbury could be a great stage for them to perform on.

  6. Prince the musician

    6. Prince

Yet again Prince is a ‘favourite’ to perform at Glastonbury. History has taught us to not get too excited after releasing two new albums recently and going on a surprise tour earlier in 2014, could Glastonbury 2015 be Prince’s time? Fingers crossed.

  7. Diana Ross

    7. Diana Ross

We hoped that Diana Ross would take to the ‘Legends Slot’ on the Sunday afternoon of Glastonbury, but that honour has gone to Lionel Richie. However, why not have the ex-Supreme headline? Motown at Glastonbury? Yes please!

  8. Fleetwood Mac

    8. Fleetwood Mac

Fleetwood Mac are regulars in the Glastonbury rumour mill and we'd love them to perform at the 2015 festival, but it's just a pipe-dream; Mick Fleetwood has confirmed that the band WON'T be making an appearaqnce. We'll just have to catch one of their UK tour dates instead.
