The government's 50% off Eat Out To Help Out scheme can be applied in eateries across the country.

From August 3, you have been able to get 50% off - up to £10 per person - your final restaurant bill at a selection of independent and chain restaurants.

The scheme is usable Monday to Wednesday and is open to any restaurant with a dining area and runs from August 3 to August 31.

You don't need a physical voucher as the discount is automatically applied to your bill and can be used as many times as you want, but the food must be eaten inside the restaurant and is not applicable to takeaways.
