Adele announces new tour

The star surprised fans with the news by posting a video on Twitter.

Adele has announced she will embark on a UK and European arena tour next year - her first tour in five years.

The star who has in the past admitted she suffers from nerves about performing, today surprised fans with the news by posting a video on Twitter.

Adele greeted fans by saying "Hello, it's me" and then bursting into laughter realising it's the same line from her smash hit 'Hello'.

She then told fans to head to her website, adele.com for the full list of tour dates which sees her perform in 14 European countries.

UK Advance tickets will go on sale on Tuesday but you'll need to be an exclusive member of her website. Now we know what's top of our Christmas wishlist!

Adele's album '25' is currently number one on iTunes in 110 countries.

  • 29 Feb & 1 March 2016 - SSE Arena, Belfast
  • 4 & 5 March - 3Arena, Dublin
  • 7 & 8 March - Manchester Arena
  • 15, 16, 18 & 19 March - The O2 Arena, London
  • 25 & 26 March - The SSE Hydro, Glasgow
  • 29 & 30 March - Genting Arena, Birmingham
