The artists are standing strong on top of list at this decade's halfway point.

In a report from the Official Charts Company, Adele's 21 has been named this decade biggest selling album. The album, which was released in 2011, has sold an incredible 4,751,000 copies in its short four year life. Her debut album 19 also appears in the list at No.11, despite being officially released in 2008.

Second place on the chart went to Take That for their record Progress, which sold an impressive 2,374,000 copies. Michael Bublé's Christmas came third with 2,216,000 sales. Bublé, however, also reappears in the chart at No.8 with his album Crazy Love.

Emeli Sandé and Ed Sheeran took the No.4 & 5 spaces, both selling over two million copies each.

Adele is believed to be working on her third album now, with speculation that it may see a release later this year. You can listen to her classic Someone Like You Below.
