Adele Receives A BAFTA TV Award Nomination

Another award nomination to add to her list!

Superstar Adele has received her first BAFTA nod as the list of nominees was announced this morning.

Her TV special 'Adele Live At The BBC' has been recognised in the category for Entertainment Programme alongside 'Strictly Come Dancing', 'Britain's Got Talent' and 'TFI Friday Anniversary Special'.

The show which was broadcast in November 2015, saw the star sit down with presenter Graham Norton to discuss her musical journey, and she also performed many of her hits before a studio audience.

Other nominations include Suranne Jones as Leading Actress for 'Doctor Foster', as well as Sheridan Smith for her performance in 'The C-Word'.

Stephen Fry and Graham Norton are both nominated for Entertainment Performance and 'The Great British Bake Off' received its fifth nomination in the features category.

The ceremony will be held on May 8th at Royal Festival Hall in London.
