Band Aid 30 is on course to be the biggest version of 'Do They Know It's Christmas?'
The latest version of Do They Know It’s Christmas? is on track to be the biggest yet, with Band Aid 30 on course to become a record-breaking number one this weekend.
The track has been re-worked by Sir Bob Geldof and Midge Ure to raise money for West Africa's current Ebola virus crisis.
It has currently sold over 252,000 copies during its first week on sale, and is on course to become the fastest-selling version of the song.
All previous Band Aid singles have reached number one in the UK, with the original selling approximately 200,000 copies in two days, while 2004's Band Aid 20 sold 297,000 during its first full week.
