Barbra Streisand has revealed that her new album almost featured Beyoncé.
The singer told Billboard that all of the female singers she approached for her duets record were "busy", although a song with Beyoncé nearly made it.
"She had her people try to do a track of one of the songs from my movie A Star Is Born, and it just... we didn't have the time to finish it, to get it right," Streisand said.
She added: "We had to release the album. Maybe someday we'll do a duet because she's so great."
Partners features Streisand singing with artists including Michael Bublé, Billy Joel and Lionel Richie.
The 72-year-old also said recently that Bublé has become "vulnerable and soft" since becoming a father.
