Carole King To Play 'Tapestry' In UK For The First Time Ever

The legendary songwriter is coming to the UK this summer to perform the classic album in its entirety.

The American singer and songwriter will headline the Barclaycard presents British Summer Time festival in London on July 3rd.

A musical based on her life and music - Beautiful: The Carole King Musical - has been a West End hit since the beginning of 2015, and King thanked her UK fans for making it such a success.

“I want to begin by thanking Londoners for making Beautiful so successful.”

King is celebrated as one of the greatest songwriters of all time. Working with her partner Gerry Goffin, King penned such classics as 'Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow?', '(You Make Me Feel Like A) Natural Women' and 'Up On The Roof'.
