Ed Sheeran as a boyband

The 'Thinking Out Loud' singer told Rolling Stone magazine that he's putting a boy band together to bring on tour.

Ed Sheeran's got so many song ideas that he's creating his own boy band to help get more of his music out there.

The 26-year-old singer-songwriter has written songs for a number of popular artists including One Direction and Justin Bieber, but has now revealed he's putting together his very own boy band with the intentions of taking them on tour with him.

"I'm gonna put three or four boys together and do all the songs, take them on the stadium tour with me," Ed said in an interview with Rolling Stone magazine.

He described the music as "superpop, but obviously credible" and admitted he was already in the process of auditioning members for the band, and had written a number of songs for them.

We can't wait to see what Ed comes up with!
