Emma Bunton will host The Great British Bake Off USA

Bake Off has just got a lot more spicy...

Emma Bunton will be the new presenter of the US version of The Great British Bake Off.

Titled The Great American Baking Show, the series will return to US TV later this year, with Paul Hollywood also returning as judge.

Emma said it was her "dream job. Christmas time, eating cake and having such a brilliant time with Spice, Sherry and Paul."

Cook book author Sherry Yard will also join the the panel, replacing Johnny Iuzzini after allegations of sexual harassment.

Finale (Season 3) - The Great American Baking Show

Former Bake Off judge Mary Berry starred in the first two seasons of the US version.

The show will air in the US in the run-up to Christmas, but it has yet to be revealed if the show will be shown in the UK.

Meanwhile, the current UK series will continue with its semi-final next week.
