Fleur East - also known as just Fleur - is an English singer, songwriter, rapper, dancer, and fitness model.
She is best known for competing in The X Factor, first on the second series in 2005 as a member of the girl group Addictiv Ladies, and again as a solo artist in 2014, where she was the runner-up.
Fleur became the X Factor's first contestant to reach number one on the UK iTunes Store chart during the show, with her performance of 'Uptown Funk'. At the time, the Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars song had yet to be released.
In 2015, she signed to Syco Music, and released her debut album, Love, Sax and Flashbacks.
Its lead single 'Sax' was a number three hit in the UK in 2015. She is yet to achieve another Top 40 hit.
Fleur was born on October 29, 1987. She celebrated her 31st birthday in 2018.
She was born to an English father and a Ghanaian mother, and was raised in Walthamstow, London.
Fleur has a younger sister named Keshia, who is a make-up professional.
