Jane Danson is an English actress, best known for playing Leanne Battersby in the ITV soap Coronation Street from 1997 and 2000, and from 2004 onwards.
She has also had roles in Children's Ward, The Grand and The Bill.

Jane Danson was born on November 8, 1978. She celebrated her 40th birthday in 2018.
She was born in Bury, Greater Manchester.
Jane began dating former Brookside actor Robert Beck in 1999, and they married in December 2005.
They have two sons together: Harry Alexander Jack (born 2006) and Sam Alfie Robert (born 2009).
In 2018, Jane revealed she miscarried their third child. She told OK!: “It was heartbreaking and it took us a long time to get over it – I don’t think you ever do.
“There will always be that sadness there and there’ll always be that desire, but we’re getting older now and the boys are growing up. Sometimes you just have to appreciate what you have. I was very sad for a long time but now I’m at a place where I think it wasn’t meant to be.”
Jane was raised by her builder father Jack (who died in 2008), and her retired care worker mum Lynne.
She has an older brother named Paul, a mechanic, and an older sister called Alison.
