Who is MasterChef 2019's Jilly? Meet the ex-rugby player finalist from Scotland

Jilly McCord has reached the finals of the 15th series of MasterChef UK.

The 41-year-old foodie has impressed judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace with her inspiring cooking, and she has reached the final four alongside Delia, Geoff and Irini.

    Gillian McCord (known as Jilly) is one of the contestants to reach the final of Masterchef in 2019.

    Jilly posts her cooking exploits on her Instagram page, along with photos of her cute sausage dogs Lucy and Steffi.

    Jilly recently moved from Inverkeithing, in Fife, to Cramond, along with partner Kimberley Fergus.

    The couple also live with their cute sausage dogs Lucy and Steffi.

    Jilly used to play for Scotland’s National Women’s Rugby team. She also played at the Women’s Rugby World Cup in 2006.

    After retiring from the sport, she has taught History at Dollar Academy in Clackmannanshire, Scotland.
