Move over Adele, there's a new balladeer in town.

You may not have realised, but Nick Knowles actually released his own album of cover songs last year.

Sadly, it received little fanfare and Every Kind of People only reached number 92, which is a travesty if you ask us.

Thankfully, his music is getting a new lease of life thanks to his appearance on I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!, after he spoke of having an alleged jam session with Scottish band Biffy Clyro on the roof of a Soho bar in London.

His cover of Bob Dylan's 'Make You Feel My Love' is currently sitting at the top of the UK iTunes downloads chart.

Sadly, downloads count for little in today's chart compared to streaming, so it remains to be seen if Nick can reach the top 40 by tomorrow afternoon, but we can live in hope.

Meanwhile, early photos from Nick's career have been unearthed, showing how he was once something of a goth.

Pictured backstage at London's Stringfellows nightclub in 1996, the then-31-year-old Nick was posing for an ITV documentary The Tuesday Special, where he experimented on how to become a rockstar by creating a fake persona, named 'Carrick Fear'. Behold:

You're welcome.

I'm a Celebrity continues tonight (November 22), with new campmate Noel Edmonds entering the jungle.
