Sheridan Smith has shared a cute photo of her newborn baby on Instagram.

Sheridan Smith celebrated her 39th birthday in lockdown yesterday (June 25), and it looks like she had a cosy time with her family.

The new mum gave us a gorgeous look at her birthday, as she shared a photo of her newborn son.

Sheridan and her fiancé Jamie Horn welcomed their first child to the world last month.

The actress and singer is seen cuddling her son as he lays on her chest in the photo, which was captioned: “Best birthday present I could’ve asked for!”

The couple have yet to announce the name of their son, and fans can't wait to hear what they've chosen.

Sheridan met fiancé Jamie after the pair met on dating app Tinder back in July last year.

Jamie is a 28-year-old former insurance broker, and he proposed to Sheridan with a £10,000 ring. The couple has since moved into a rented home in North London.

Last year, Sheridan revealed that she was ready to start a family after working with kids on the cast of her West End show Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

More recently, Sheridan played a single mum-to-be in ITV's Isolation Stories during lockdown, which was filmed in her own home in Kent.
