Strictly Come Dancing professional Johannes Radebe has spoken out after dancing with Graziano Di Prima for the second year running.

The pair performed a routine together during the results show at the weekend to Emeli Sandé’s ‘Shine’.

It is not the first time this has happened on Strictly, with the pair dancing together last year.

Strictly’s first results show last year opened up with all of the professionals partnered up in same-sex dance couplings to perform to Imagine Dragons.

This year, the spotlight was just on Graziano and Johannes, with the latter saying: “I’ve never felt so liberated.

“For the first time in my life, I feel accepted for who I am. That says so much about the people of this country.”

He continued to Hello! magazine: “To be able to dance with a friend I respect and adore is joyous.

“There’s bromance galore between us, but there were no male and female roles, just free movement. It was beautiful, classy and elegant.”

Graziano took to Instagram to say: “Our friendship is difficult to explain, we went through so many moments together that we can understand each other without saying a word.

“As I say to you most of the time: You will be part of my life forever… love you Johannes.”

Following their performance, Viscountess Emma Weymouth became the latest contestant to be sent home following the dance-off.

Strictly continues on Saturday night (November 9).
