The Chase star Paul Sinha announces he is engaged to his boyfriend

The Sinnerman's Chase for love is over!

ITV quiz star Paul Sinha confirmed that on Twitter that he had started the new year by proposing to his boyfriend.

"I proposed today. He said yes," Paul announced, before joking: "Thus starts yet another diet."

The 48-year-old star The Chase popped the question to his boyfriend two days into 2019. The comedian was praised for openly speaking about his sexuality on quiz show two years ago.

In May 2017, Paul joked about "not paying enough attention" to one of his ex-boyfriends in a quick remark made to another contestant.

While Paul has not yet revealed the identity of his partner, he did previously speak about how he had been in a "quizzing power couple" with a man named Oliver since 2016.

Paul told GuysLikeU: "I am happy with a boyfriend. We are in an open relationship, but can’t say more than that."
