James Taylor's Before This World Tops US Album Charts

Before This World is the legendary singer's first ever US No.1.

James Taylor has reached No.1 1 in the US with his new album Before This World. The record is Taylor's first ever number one record, despite releasing music for 45 years. Incredible.

Billboard reports that this officially makes James Taylor's wait for a number one record the second longest in history, surpassed only by Tony Bennett. Bennett waited 54 years for the top spot, which he achieved with the record Duets II.
