Dionne Warwick praises 'incredible' lineup for David Gest's Soul Legends Legacy Tour

Over the past decade, soul fans have turned up in their thousands to enjoy amazing gigs staged by David Gest, featuring some of the biggest artists in their genre.

Organiser and producer David Gest sadly passed away in April 2016, but his company has announced plans for the next tour in his name.

Soul Legends 2018: The Legacy Tour will feature artists including Sheila Ferguson, Kiki Dee, Rebecca Ferguson, Freda Payne, Fern Kinney, Leee John, Junior Giscombe and others still to be announced.

Earlier this year, the David Gest Foundation was set up to help raise money for some of the great causes close to David’s heart, and this tour will raise funds to continue the good work.

We spoke to soul icon Dionne Warwick, who is a patron of the David Gest Foundation, and she told us that she welcomed news of the 2018 tour:

She said: "I have been part of David's tours, and as I look at the incredible line-up of talent that will be coming to 16 cities in the UK to dazzle you,  I know a good time will be had by all.
